Open Auditions

The Master Singers of Worcester will be auditioning experienced singers in all voice parts for the 2011-2012 season.

Known for a varied repertoire of fine choral music, MSW currently includes about 40 members drawn from Worcester and surrounding communities.

Rehearsals are held Tuesday evenings from 7:15-9:30 pm at the First Congregational Church of Shrewsbury with concerts usually in Worcester. We encourage people to arrive a few minutes early so we can share a few social minutes beforehand.

New singers are invited to join open rehearsals on Aug 30 and Sept 6. Interested singers who cannot attend the first open audition on the 30th are also invited to attend the open rehearsal on September 6, when they may also audition. Please prepare one short song or a vocal line from a standard choral work, and be ready to sight-read as well as do a few vocal exercises.
